CPI-M Counterattacked on BJP : Manik Sarkar's Aggressive Speech against BJP's Goonda-Raj Boosts CPI-M's Confidence statewide

AGARTALA, Sep 7 (TIWN): Quitting Gandhism which advices to get slaps one after another due to which Communists party members were tolerating BJP led attacks and tortures for last 3.5 years, former Chief Minister Manik Sarkar has now permitted "self defence" for the first time in this BJP ruled state after his convoy was attacked in his own constituency Dhanpur. Recently, Manik Sarkar has been blamed by CPI-M's own party workers for his fascination in too much Gandhism and not allowing the comrades to protect themselves from miscreants' attacks. Recently, Trinamool party which has emerged also as a stronger opponent of BJP in Tripura asked the CPI-M activists to join Trinamool if the Communist leaders can't protect them. Meanwhile, yesterday's statement of Manik Sakar has once again boosted the self-confidence of the party workers.

After preventing BJP from its attempt of stopping CPI-M rally, former CM Manik Sarkar has called the CPI-M party workers "Heroes" an "Heroines" for joining the rally. 

Sarkar stated that the party members of Dhanpur have not only set an example for local areas but it's a message to the whole state. 

Manik Sarkar further asked CPI-M across the state to follow the same path against undemocratic attacks of the BJP.

Tension erupted after BJP attacked Manik Sarkar's convoy and police tried to stop CPI-M's rally. 

Police then urged Manik Sarkar not to walk further as the law and order issue can be erupted. Then Manik Sarkar asked police to arrest him but as Police did not do this, CPI-M workers broke police's barricade and walked a massive rally and successfully held the programme.
