AGARTALA, Sep 2 (TIWN): Trinamool Congress held a press meet on Thursday in Agartala and discussed about political strategies keeping the Assembly Election 2023 ahead. Reacting over media queries about possible alliance with other parties and joining of leaders from BJP party, Trinamool leaders said that the ultimate decision will be taken by the Party supremo but Trinamool has kept "door" open for all. Talking about State Committee, Sushmita Dev said that it might take 2 to 3 months more to announce the party committee because, Trinamool is trying to create a leader from the ground-level as post of President is the crucial one. Bratya Basu said, "We are not requesting anyone to join in our party but our door is open. The experienced leaders who are in BJP now their condition is miserable. They joined from Congress party in BJP because, nobody can stay in Congress due to Congress's unorganized condition. So, our door is open. We have also asked the Communist activists to come with us if their leaders are incapable to save them or organize public support".

"Our Door is Open but organization does not depend on few faces but it depends on public support and grass level politics. We have to make the foundation strong for Trinamool. Now, if any leader from any party wants to join, it is his / her wish", Bratya Basu added.

Media asked Sushmita Dev whether she will fight in the poll or not. Sushmita Dev said, "I have come here just as a Trinamool worker and under direction of Mamata Banerjee, we are trying to strengthen the organization. In democracy, public pulses decided everything. We are working still on the ground level".

Dev further stated that from tomorrow Trinamool will start a challenge that is to organize District wise programmes and to talk to the people across the state.
