AGARTALA, Aug 30 (TIWN): "Amra 10323", one of the 10323 teachers' organizations recently held a protest in Agartala voicing against the injustice with the terminated teachers amid death tolls of the terminated teachers have increased to 106. The protest was staged amid Banks are pressuring the teachers to clear their loans which they had taken during their jobs. In protest, Amra 10323 teachers organization said, when the terminated teachers are unable to arrange two meals for their families, how can they clear the loans ? The teachers are not only being pressured to clear loans but the guarantors are losing their money as Banks started slashing amounts from their accounts. Moreover, the properties of the terminated teachers are at risk as Banks plan to seize them. "Amra 10323" Teachers' Organization protested against Bank's pressure on 10323 teachers to clear loans.
Amra 10323 organization leader Dalia Das said, "The Government which promised us to resolve our matter, must fulfill its promise now. We lost our jobs. We have no income now ! If in this condition, the government can't stand with us as our guardian, then who will be our guardian ? The Govt can't escape from its duty to us. We also belong to the 37 lakhs population of the state".
