AGARTALA, Aug 23 (TIWN): Last week, the D.EI.ED students had gheraoed the Education Dept over their pending examinations amid the TET examination is also ahead, but as the Dept has been in slumber, the students once again have gheraoed the Dept in protest. Talking to the media, one of the agitating students said, "We have been requesting the Director to conduct our examinations. Either the Det has to take exams online or offline, but a decision should be made. We are in tension and suffering due to uncertainty. On the one hand, we have B.Ed exam tensions and again TET exam is ahead. For what exam, should we get prepared ? It has been two months, our demands are pending. Our session deadline is also ending. As offline exams are not possible and all students who are studying in other states' colleges have completed their exams in online mode, so we want our exams to also be completed soon in online mode".
The students came from seven D.EI.ED colleges of the state and they have no organization and students in general have come to protest.
