AGARTALA, Aug 7 (TIWN): Seeing Trinamool Congress's massive protest in Dharmanagar, CM Biplab Deb escaped with escorts without facing the Trinamool activists who were protesting against an attack on Trinamool party office there.
In protest, Trinamool activists sat in a road blockade. At that time, CM Biplab Deb's convoy reached the spot.
Police asked the agitators to leave the place but the angry Trinamool workers denied and started protests in a more aggressive manner showing Trinamool's flag to CM Biplab Deb.
As the situation was going out of control, Biplab Deb's convoy returned and later reportedly the convoy took another alternative path to reach the destination.

On the other hand, Trinamool members were severely injured in Ambassa after BJP activists stone pelted them in their vehicle.
