AGARTALA, Aug 3 (TIWN): Protesting against Board examination results, students of Charilam school have blocked National Highway. They all are Madhyamik exam candidates, but were declared as failed by TBSE Board.
In Tripura, similar protests have been going on across the state since the results were declared.
On the other side, in capital city Agartala, seeking promotion of all students, a massive number of students gathered at Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath's residence today.The students wanted to talk to the Education Minister but soon the protest resulted in chaos after police started arresting them forcefully. In tussle with police many students were left injured.
Around 25% students were announced failed in Tripura, though no Board examination was held.
