BISHALGARH (Sepahijala Dist), Aug 2 (TIWN): Massive protest in National Highway over favourite Teacher’s forceful transfer was staged by school students.

AITC General Secretary, Abhishek Banerjee talked with the students in National Highway, when he was returning from Udaipur Matabari to Agartala.

East Gokulnagar High School students held a blockade on National Highway at Bishalgarh today against transfer of School Head Master Subir Chowhan.

Meanwhile, AITC General Secretary, Abhishek Banerjee with his convoy while returning from Udaipur's Matabari to Agartala had reached to the agitation spot and talked with the students.

Student demanded to withdraw the transfer order of their favourite Head teacher. 

Bengal Education Minister Bratya Basu, Law Minister Moloy Ghatak, MP Ritabrata Banerjee were also present during the incident.
