AGARTALA, July 29 (TIWN): After CJM Court had released I-PAC team members unconditionally, Tripura Congress President, Adv Pijush Biswas said, 'Now Legal Action will be taken against Tripura Govt over I-PAC Team's illegal Detention'

"Case must be filed against the officials because the I-PAC members are innocent, but were harassed illegally. They had Covid negative reports with them. Moreover, the FIR was lodged 3 days after detaining them", said Pijush Biswas.

"The Court has agreed to bail them out unconditionally. Judge has rejected the Govt side's appeal and accepted our petition. Disaster Management Act was added in the FIR filed against them. The FIR was lodged the day before yesterday but the team members were arrested before that, when there was no allegation. They have been detained, they have been tortured, they have been harassed", Biswas said.
