While recalling the previous days one woman said, "During CPI-M era we did not even have time to eat food due to work load. We had works on daily basis. But now, we can't eat food because we don't have any work to do. We are in a condition where we have to see our children dying out of starvation." 

In such a condition where people are starving without food, the price of essential commodities is increasing everyday.  Report says , Tripura in last two decades hasn't undergone such economic situations, poverty , starvation that led couple of poverty related suicides in the State .Amid massive contributions in Chief Minister's relief fund, Tripura Govt failed to introduce a proper solution for poor people, did not announce any strong economic package which could feed the poor stomachs. Several pre-poll promises by CM Biplab Deb from 50,000 govt jobs in first year to TSR recruitment to 7 lakh jobs in 30 months to 10 lakh compensation money to Covid deceased families everything turned into nothing but a JUMLA. 

From middle class to lower middle class to the people registered under BPL card, major section of the society is facing severe crisis during both the first and second wave of global pandemic.

This is however a part of National recession that the Country is Undergoing in BJP era where unemployment have become the massive problem across all over the country.But no solution has been implemented to minimize this huge problem which is leading the life of common people towards constant misery.
