AGARTALA, July 28 (TIWN): Condemning Biplab Deb Govt led "House Arrest" of I-PAC team, Trinamool MP Ritabrata Banerjee has recalled how Biplab Deb held empty road rallies in West Bengal before Bengal Poll. He picked the matter of road-show programme of Biplab Deb to signify that Trinamool led West Bengal Govt is not undemocratic to stop opposition voices and allowed BJP to organize prorammes wherever, whenever they wanted. MP Ritabrata Banerjee addressing in Agartala Press Club said, "In Democracy, the Opposition voice is important. It upholds the Democracy but the way BJP has suppressed the democracy since Lenin's statue bulldozing in this state Tripura, it is no way remained a Democracy at all. The whole nation under Narendra Modi is going through a suffocating situation and democracy is murdered everyday".
He further mentioned that Left parties also has no place in Tripura and from Left's pathetic poll results, it is visible that the Communists lost their base and thus it is only Trinamool party which has to make the replacement.
Bengal Education Minister Bratya Basu said that Trinamool will surely rescue Tripura from BJP and its fascism will not be tolerated.
