AGARTALA, July 28 (TIWN): Bengal Law Minister Moloy Ghatak has condemned Biplab Deb Govt led House Arrest of I-PAC team members for 4 days long in Agartala.

A team of Trinamool Congress led by Bengal Education Minister Bratya Basu, Law Minister Moloy Ghatak, MP Ritabrata Banerjee, TMC Tripura President Asish Lal Singha arrived in Tripura to rescue the Prashant Kishor's I-PAC team and the leaders of the Trinamool party were succeeded in the rescue operation as BJP Govt immediately had released the I-PAC members after the heavyweight Trinamool leaders' arrival.

Education Minister Bratya Basu called the detention of I-PAC team an example of 'fascism' and MP Ritabrata Banerjee reminded Tripura CM Biplab Deb how he organized rallies on empty roads at West Bengal before Bengal Poll. 

Addressing media,  Bengal Law Minister Moloy Ghatak said, "We are responsible citizens. Each of us has RT-PCR negative test reports. We are double vaccinated !! Same were the I-PAC team members but how could the Govt detain the youths even after they had shown their Covid negative test reports ? There are various hotels in Agartala. Is the Govt conducting Covid tests of all passengers staying in those hotels ?"
