On Sunday afternoon, based on a tip-off, a vehicle loaded with cattle was seized from a road in Jaspat area of ​​Belonia Barapathari, said Smriti Kant Vardhan, OC of Belonia Police Station. Car loaded with seized cows whose number is TR-01-Z-1799 was carrying a total of seven cows in this vehicle. The vehicle with the cows was brought to Belonia police station. 

 

Later, a case was registered against the driver and the owner of the cow under the Cattle Act for failing to show any documents, said Smriti Kant Vardhan, OC of Belonia Police Station. He also said that the way the seven cows are being transported in small canter carts is inhumane.
