AGARTALA, July 25(TIWN): Model State (?) Acche Din (?) Biplab Deb’s bag full promise remained only in his ‘motor mouth’. Unlike left era in BJP area too rural people deprived to get the all facilities. Biplab Deb failed to create model state in his ruling state. After several complaints to repair road, Panchayat members to local leaders remained unresponsive to repair dilapidated road under Dukli RD Block. Later, with huge resentment over the local leaders and Panchayat members, the villagers took steps to repair dilapidated road.

According to the details, the brick road from Pandabpur area of Ward No. 1 of Vikram Nagar Gram Panchayat under Dukli RD Block to Deendayal Chaumuni has been in dilapidated condition for several years due to lack of repairs. Reportedly over 300 people move on this road and moving on this dilapidated road has become very difficult, also to ride bikes and cars.  The local people informed Bikramnagar Gram Panchayat members and GRS several times earlier to repair the road but nothing was happened. The Panchayat members and GRS remained unresponsive on this matter. Later after long wait the local people started repairing from their own initiative.

Now the question is where is development? In rural areas the people have always been deprived from various facilities. Where the CM, Biplab Deb vowed to turn Tripura into a Model State but here in his state, People from rural areas howling after being deprived from basic facilities.
