AGARTALA, July 21 (TIWN): BJP South Tripura Yuva Morcha District President Suman Debnath's marriage functions with thousands of people's gathering which has remained without any legal action, but the videos of the illegal marriage gathering are viral in social media, which might turn heavy on Law Minister Ratan Lal Nath if he faces media as he claimed earlier that BJP members do not indulge any illegal works by violating Covid rules, even though Ratan Lal Nath himself violated the Covid guidelines by organizing 5,000 people's gathering at Mohanpur earlier.
He accused opposition parties like CPI-M engaged in violation of Covid rules, but in a marriage programme of a lower post holding party worker where people without masks paraded in the city and two days after DJ function videos on reception day went viral, no action could be taken by the administration.
On the other hand, common men are subjected to hefty fines. In this condition, media persons are ready to ask Ratan Lal Nath why the marriage organizers were not arrested though the District Magistrate is the same person who raided Manikya Court a few months ago and arrested women from the marriage where around 200 people had gathered ? However, as expected, Ratan Lal Nath has been escaping from facing the media in fear of "tough questions".
Earlier, after Ratan Lal Nath came into controversy for violating Covid laws, he said, "I am responsible for the gathering at Mohanpur............but I did not want so many people to come".
On being asked, SDPO Sadar Ramesh Yadav about Ratan Lal Nath's gathering, he told journalists that Mohanpur is not under his area.
With all these, the culture of no action against the ruling party for breaking Laws continues under Law Minister Ratan Lal Nath.
