AGARTALA, July 20 (TIWN): The unresolved Madhav Bari case where police firing injured 5 youths during anti-CAA protest will be provided with permanent livelihoods though Govt jobs in TTAADC, such has been promised by Pradyot Manikya, the Tipra Motha supremo.

Pradyot Manikya Announced that Govt Jobs under TTAADC to 5 Youths who received Bullet Injuries during Anti-CAA Protest at Madhav Bari in 2019.

During his visit at Kanchanpur today, Pradyot Manikya has announced this.

On January 8, 2019 while NESO organized a democratic protest at Madhav Bari in Jirania in protest against Citizenship Amendment Bill. The situation went out of control when few outsiders with BJP flags arrived the spot and also they burnt public properties. Then police started firing which injured 5. When they were taken to hospital TSR had stopped the ambulance and beaten them further in attempt to preventing them from going to the hospital. Till now, the TSR jawans could not be identified. The Madhav Bari incident's name-sake investigation report also never came before public.

Thus, Pradyot Manikya has announced to provide the youths jobs under TTAADC.

However, whether TTAADC can recruit state employees or not, it has raised question.

Today, a rally was organized at Laljuri, Kanchanpur where he paid tribute to Pindulal Chakma and also helped the family financially, who died in a clash of Durga puja. On behalf of ADC administration Rs. 75,000 was given to the family.

To welcome Pradyot Manikya public gathered there.

He further appealed people to get united with Greater Tipraland demand.
