AGARTALA, JULY 19 (TIWN): Despite of CM Biplab Deb's much hyped "Nesha Mukta Tripura" slogan, contraband items smuggling are getting more active in the State. In yet another successful operation Madhupur police on Monday seized huge amount of cannabis from an abandoned place of ONGC.

Reportedly, based on a secret source the Madhupur police on Monday raided an abandoned place of ONGC. After searching police seized huge amount of cannabis from that place. The whole operation was led by Officer Subhrajit Deb.

The market value of the seized items will be more than 5 lakhs, said police.
