AGARTALA, July 12 (TIWN): Thousand rupees fines were imposed on the people roaming without masks.

As per 7 days reports, Tripura was ranked No-7 in Coronavirus and recently the central team also visited the state. Moreover, a confusion was created after the State Health Dept reported that Delta-Plus was traced in Tripura but the Central Govt has denied the fact.  Amid all these, Tripura's Covid situation is alarming and the daily Covid report was found over 6% as per 24 hrs report.

In one unique decision, the administration has started a forceful Covid test of the people not wearing masks along with imposition of fines. 

On the other side, an economic crisis has hit the state and the middle class, poor are suffering heavily due to continuous curfew. For Agartala it is also 2 months that Curfew is continuing.
