AGARTALA, July 9 (TIWN): In another incident, a person has claimed that he has been brutally attacked by Noyabadi Panchayat member and his son over cutting a goava tree on Thursday.

Reportedly, Kahar Mia, a resident of Noyabadi area alleged that Panchayat member Ratan Majumder and his son brutally attacked him on Thursday evening. The fight started regarding an issue of cutting a goava tree in there locality. 

Kahar Mia while talking to media said that, "After they severally attacked me, I've apologised to them. Yet, they were not convinced and brutally beaten me. The Panchayat member's son also threatened to kill me." 

Later, the family members took Kahar Mia to GB hospital for treatment. He is under observation now. They also said that they will be filing a case against the Panchayat member and his son.
