AGARTALA, July 8 (TIWN): After getting an order from Higher authority of Karimganj PS, Police of Bodhjungnagar PS rushed to a house at late last night and detained a man for being involved with gold smuggling.

The arrested man has been identified as Bishnupada Nag, resident of Kashipur area. He is an owner of Jewellery shop at Shantipara. However, the police before media said that he will be taken to Police Station for an interrogation, but Police did not reveal anything more that he is the accused in which case.

However, the accused Bishnupada said that he does not have any idea why was being taken to the PS. But the Police team's sudden raid at his house at midnight has triggered tension in the area.
