AGARTALA, July 3 (TIWN): When the state is undergoing massive unemployment crisis, there are 28,000 posts which have been vacated with retirement of State Govt employees in last 6 years.
The statement came from BJP backed Govt employees association when the members were talking about the Promotion decision taken by the BJP Govt confronting Left parties' claims that the promotion is unconstitutional.
Referring how Govt employees were deprived from promotion under Left, the association mentioned before media that in last 6 years 28,000 Govt employees took retirement and many were deprived of promotions.
Moreover, termination of around 9,000 employees happened through 10323 teachers' termination which will be added with that 28,000 number.
Noteworthy, Tripura BJP before 2018 election had promised to fill up 50,000 permanent vacant posts within 1 year of Govt formation.
