AGARTALA, June 28 (TIWN): 23 MLAs of Tripura BJP have remained against Chief Minister Biplab Deb during National BJP Secretary B.L.Santhosh's visit, a source has said. The national leader also submitted a report to the Central BJP in this regard who had visited Tripura on June 16 and held phases of meeting with MLAs, Ministers. As per the source, out of 36 MLAs of the BJP party only 12 MLAs have directly supported Biplab Deb. On the other hand, Biplab Deb through MLA Kalyani Roy asked all MLAs, Ministers in an urgent meeting at Secretariat on Saturday and it was warned indirectly that if anyone does not attend the meeting, then to be ready for "no ticket" for the next poll. Still the majority of the MLAs were not present in that meeting and the news of Biplab Deb's urgent meeting had gone to Delhi also.Today BJP national leader Fanindranath Sarma also has reached Tripura and held a meeting with BJP MLAs in the presence of CM Biplab Deb, though maximum BJP MLAs were absent at Krishnanagar party office meeting.

On the other side, relation of BJP with IPFT is also not at good stage and IPFT leaders were invited in Delhi by BJP leadership in this purpose.

Taking the opportunity of BJP's infighting, Trinamool Congress is trying to make its place in Tripura and already thousands of ex-BJP members joined Trinamool Congress. Basically, what is going on "inside" the Tripura BJP is just "clueless", but Anti-Biplab sentiment and resentment against Deb is high inside the party which seems far beyond repairing capacity.

On 16th June B.L.Santhosh had visited tripura but could not resolve the matter. Sudip Roy Barman after Krishnanagar headquarter meeting with Central and State leaders came out with extreme anger on his face but he scolded the media after was asked whether he is quitting BJP.

Sudip Roy Barman and dissented MLAs never propagated about quitting BJP, rather they wanted action against corrupt coterie of CM Deb but as 3.3 years already passed amid increasing infighting and most of the media in state are victims of Biplab Deb's dictator regime, how far damage repair is possible regarding BJP's downed popularity amid unfulfilled Vision Document promises, it is questionable.
