AGARTALA, June 26 (TIWN): Tripura's Veterinary unemployed Doctors have demanded recruitment, more numbers of vacant posts' release as the unemployment rate is going high. On Saturday, unemployed youths who are Veterinary passouts wanted to meet Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb and they came to meet him but without appointment, they were not allowed to go inside. But on the other side, the unemployed youths were trying to get an appointment for 2 months but no appointment was given to them from the Secretariat. Being bound, the youths today kept on waiting to meet CM for hours today morning but ultimately could not meet him. Yesterday, Biplab Deb had posted in his social media that 16 numbers of Vet Officers' posts will be filled up and cabinet has taken the decision but the numbers are very low when every year Vets are passing out and since 7 years there was no appointment. Moreover, all the 16 seats were given to SC and STs which has erupted resentment and also questions raised over violation of the recruitment policy. The unemployed youths however had to return home as the Chief Minister did not meet them without appointment.Â
BJP before the 2018 election had promised to fill up all vacant posts by 1-year but the reality has no match with the promises.
Not only for Vets but for Doctors, Nurses, Engineers also, the same problems have left them frustrated in this state.
