According to an eyewitness, two youths from Sabajpur and Padmabeel were moving in scooty in Kameshwar area with intention of abducting a minor girl from the area this morning.

While the minor girl tried to flee on scooty, the minor's mother caught the youth along with scooty. Another youth who was involved in abduction case was freed from the locals as he escaped from the spot. After hearing the minor girl’s mother screams the locals rushed and grabbed the young boy along with the scooter.

Locals complained that for a long time, these two youths could be seen moving around the area unnecessarily.

Meanwhile, the mother of the minor girl said that the young boy had a love affair with the minor. When the family members came to know about the matter they warned the minor girl.  Later the locals informed the incident to Dharmanagar PS, and handed over the youth to Dharmanagar police for attempted abduction. The incident has generated chaos in the area. However, it is known that the minor girl is 15 years old.
