AGARTALA, June 19 (TIWN): Though statewide positivity rate has downed to 3.50% but in AMC area it is still alarming at 10.58%

Addressing media at the Secretariat, Ratan Lal Nath said, "Total Covid tests have been done above 11 lakhs and among them the positive rate is about Rs. 61,000 and recovery is above 56,000. Total active case 4,715. In home quarantine total 4226 patients and in institutional quarantine 489 patients and total death is 639".

"The death rate is 1.03% and 25 states are above us. National death rate 1.29%. Our positivity rate is 3.50% and 26 states are above us. National positivity rate is 7.66%.  51% vaccination was done in the first dose. Total 14.6% estimated population. We are top in whole India in vaccination (as per population)", said Nath. 

Latest positivity rate is 3.50%, West Dist 6.16% and AMC 10.58%.
