BELONIA, June 16 (TIWN): Belonia Congress placed a deputation to SDO Pranab Kumar Roy at the Water Resources Development Department office on Wednesday demanding an adequate supply of clean filtered drinking water.

Addressing the media the leaders the pipelines were laid earlier based on the population of the area but now the population has increased but there was no change in the pipeline patterns. Besides, due to the accumulation of iron in the pipeline, the citizens are not getting proper water, where instead of getting water twice a day, they are receiving an inadequate quantity for an hour only. The people of Bilonia depend on this supply.

The leaders however said that they will go for a bigger movement if their problem is not solved immediately. 

President of Bilonia Block Congress, Arup Dev, former Congress MLA, Dilip Chowdhury, Veteran Congress leader, Bhabatosh Bhowmik, and others were present while handing over the deputation.
