AGARTALA, June 16 (TIWN): Amid speculations about majority of Tripura BJP MLAs are quitting party, Central leaders are rushing to Tripura to save the collapsing party. Amid Tripura BJP's infighting, BJP National General Secretary B. L. Santhosh arrived in the state today and two more Central leaders have already scheduled to arrive including Vinod Sonkar, Ajay Jamwal. Earlier all meetings remain without solution but the MLAs are now strict to their demands which is to sack Biplab Deb from CM post. If Biplab Deb is not terminated, then the MLAs will quit the party as "Enough is Enough". After years, today BJP top MLAs like Sudip Barman, Sushanta Chowdhury, Ram Prasad Pal, Asish Das, Asish Saha and others were seen in the BJP Party headquarter as the headquarter under State President Dr Manik Saha had excluded the leaders from any ADC poll campaigning to Covid programmes.
Rather BJP Krishnanagar office have been busy to send their group's people to these MLAs areas and without the MLAs' consults they are holding programmes in those area which is open-sabotage under instruction of Biplab Deb and his group. Many Mandal leaders were changed in intrigue against the MLAs. Apart from these issues, Corruption, Dictatorship led by Biplab Deb have been major reason why BJP wants a replacement of Biplab Deb.
However, sources said that it is might be too late as in last 3.2 years constant humiliations have been faced by the MLAs where MLA Sudip Barman had to face FIR also by Biplab Deb Govt centering Covid Centre visit. BJP Party's collapse in Tripura started when in 2019, Biplab deb had sacked Sudip Barman from cabinet which was a shocking news for the BJP party's majority as BJP's maximum supporters are former Congress members and Sudip Barman had been the opposition leader in Tripura.
On December 6, 2020, BJP had raised Biplab Hatao, BJP Bachao slogan in Tripura after BJP Tripura Incharge Vinod Sonkar had arrived in Tripura.
