AGARTALA, June 15 (TIWN): BJP’s miscreants are organising attacks on CPIM supporters, leader’s house, destroying the peace in the state. On last Sunday miscreants held an attack on SFI state secretary Sandipan Deb’s house, beaten up Sandipan and his two brothers, and also used slang towards the women present in the house amid the night curfew. No arrest reported yet, by demanding arrest four left organisations staged protest at Melarmath, Agartala.
Amid night curfew BJP bike goons held an attack on last Sunday around 10 Pm at SFI state secretary Sandipan Deb’s home and his family members. Stone pelt was organised on his house and abusive words were thrown towards the women present in the situation. But after the attack Police detained no one yet in this connection. With immediate arrest demand today four left organisations DYFI, SFI, TYF, and TSU staged a protest demonstration at Melarmath area.
A leader of left organisation said in last 3 years police have become BJP’s slave, and working only for ruling party, BJP. He also said “if Police wanted police could detain the goons and control these brutal attacks but police are playing silent role and indulging miscreants by not arresting them. “Goondaraaj” has been going on in the state as BJP party supporters also know the BJP is losing its popularity in the state”.
Few days ago like same way BJP miscreants held attack on DYFI State Secretary house, Nabarun Deb’s house amid curfew in broad daylight but Police played a dumb role on this attack. By demanding immediate arrests of BJP miscreants and exemplary punishment the four organisations of leftist staged demonstration today.
Almost every day in every nook and corner of the state BJP miscreants are creating violence and destroying common people's peace but the inactive role of Police to control these violence shows Police has become slave of BJP party.
