Police continue Vigilance over Corona Curfew Rules in Capital City Agartala : Shopping Malls closed as Govt Allowed only small shops with Limited times

AGARTALA, June 11 (TIWN): Corona Curfew is not over for Agartala and 5 more areas under Dhamanagar, Kumarghat, Ranir Bazar, Sonamura, Belonia urban bodies but just ease in business was allowed with limited time. Today in Agartala, violating Govt's guidelines shopping malls were also opened but police immediately shutdown them and complaint was sent the West Dist Magistrate's office also in this regard. Yesterday, the State Govt had extended the curfew in six in Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) and 5 more areas where Covid positivity rate is above 5%.Curfew will be continuing till June 18. Restriction on inter-district movement was lifted and shops and markets would remain open in restricted areas from 6 am till 2 pm during this period.However, Agartala city is getting back into life as Corona curfew rules have been eased. Yesterday, the State Govt had extended the curfew in six in Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) and 5 more areas where Covid positivity rate is above 5%.

Curfew will be continuing till June 18.  Restriction on inter-district movement was lifted and shops and markets would remain open in restricted areas from 6 am till 2 pm during this period.  Agartala city was experiencing total Curfew from 17th May, 2021 which caused massive losses to business.   However, malls were not allowed to open.
