Tripura's terminated teachers sought appointments

AGARTALA, June 8 (TIWN): BJP's promise to 10323 teachers was not New Jobs in Group C and Group D Posts but to STOP 10323 Teachers' Termination from Teaching Post was the Promise, pre-election promising giving press conference of BJP shows. Coming in power was an easy job for the BJP's Vision Document was a gesture of the public demands and among those demands, 50000 Govt jobs for unemployed youths under the existing vacant posts of the Left Govt was another promise. The issues are being raised as it has been more than 3 years of the BJP Govt in Tripura and the death toll among 10323 teachers have gone to 99. But former suspended Congress MLA cum Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath is trying hard to prove that how honest his Party and Govt are with the people and the Vision Document amid 10323 teachers' families are devastated. 10323 Teachers' Death Toll continues to rise in Tripura as one more teacher has died without treatment.

Resident of Manu, Longtarai undergraduate, terminated teacher Bipod Bhojon Banik who was physically challenged died without treatment. He became handicapped in a terrorist attack after receiving bullet injuries in his legs and he was the only earner of his family but amid his physical weakness, the terminated teacher became mentally weak after his job loss. Finally he has passed away leaving his family behind. 

Condoling his death, JMC member Kamal Deb said, "Bipad Bhojon Banik has died without treatment. 99 teachers have died in the state but State Govt has not helped a single family. Our question, after how many deaths, will the Govt will be sympathized for 10323 teachers ? If anymore teacher dies, the blame will be gone to the Govt and the Dept only. We don't want to lose anymore among our colleagues".
