AGARTALA, June 3 (TIWN): Unless the promise will be fulfilled, TIWN's questions' radiations will be increasing because the public trusted, voted the ruling party in exchange of such promises and public taxes need to be utilized for public welfare, not for comforts of the politicians. Social Welfare Dept Minister Santana Chakma has announced Rs. 10 lakhs scheme for the Covid-19 deceased persons' children which is no doubt a good decision but a bigger promise was made 1 year back by Tripura CM Biplab Deb to the 37 lakhs of people saying 'each Covid deceased person's family to be compensated Rs. 10 lakhs'. After the promise 1 year has passed and new death reports are also coming everyday in the second wave but not a single person has received Rs. 10 lakhs. Among Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb's tall promises, Rs. 10 lakhs to each Covid death victim's families also has resulted in Fake promises amid the death toll has crossed 500 in state. So far no plan has been executed to implement the promise in reality.
