'Why not President's Rule in Tripura ?' : Asks Congress Over Law & Order Issue referring Minister N.C.Debbarma's latest Statement on 'No Rule of Law existing in Tripura'

AGARTALA, June 2 (TIWN): Referring deteriorating law and order specially on hills where BJP-IPFT Govt to trying to overrule the public mandate amid its major defeat in ADC Poll and NC Debbarma's press meet where he claimed about "No Law and Order existing in Tripura", Tripura Congress President Pijush Biswas said that generally after such a claim by a Cabinet Minister, President's rule would have been demanded. However, the Congress President said that Congress does not demand President's rule in Tripura but the Govt should allow TIPRA Motha to rule ADC, instead of imposing forceful power by using administrative power. Pijush Biswas further said that BJP, IPFT is playing a dirty politics against TIPRA Motha. The statement came after Tripura Minister N.C. Debbarma on May 19, 2021 alleged 'No Law and Order' in State after faced Severe Attacks at Jampuijala. He also alleged that MLAs can not visit in their areas in state, which was repeatedly alleged by the opposition parties.

The Minister raised question, whether elected MLAs can't visit their areas and utilize the MLA funds ? 

This statement came amid the Opposition party CPI-M MLAs for a long time were asking the same question and also raised complaints in Assembly about attacks on elected MLAs in their own areas.
