AGARTALA, May 26 (TIWN): Based on secret information Agartala Srinagar Police and Special Branch raided a home in Ganganagar Para in connection with the Jarul Bazar incident and successfully seized huge numbers of illegal weapons, arms from the house. However, the main accused Jatindra Debbarma and other suspected persons are absconding. Talking to media, the police officer on duty at Srinagar Police Station said that it was informed to police that around 4 to 5 youths were roaming with Tripura State Rifles (TSR) like dresses in Ganganagar Para and Bahumani Para. After reaching the spot, with help of local sources, police reached the house of the accused person and seized an Arm force like one dress, huge numbers of Arms, and Ammunitions which were illegally kept. Also a pistol was recovered along with local Arms. The accused Jatindra Debbarma, S/O- Hemon Debbarma was actually residing in his father in law Enkhorai Debbarma's home, from where the illegal Arms have been recovered. Â
But Jatindra Debbarma has managed to escape from the spot though police have activated networks to arrest him at the earliest.
