AGARTALA, May 14 (TIWN): A massive fire broke out at BSNL Exchange office in broad daylight on Friday amid Eid Holiday at Collegetilla, Agartala.

The blaze incident was reported to the fire station, on receiving the news the fire tenders rushed to the scene and brought the fire under control.

It is suspected the fire has been caused by a short circuit, the office in-charge, Prasanta Kumar Sen said almost 1and half years ago massive fire had broken out.

However, Mobile phones, transmission equipment, Battery power plant, BTS (Base Transceiver Station) including many other valuable machines were present inside the office.

Meanwhile, the office in-charge said that the amount of damage will be known after the investigation.
