'Not Recruiting Health Staffs amid Pandemic is like Nero's playing of fiddle when City is Burning' : Jiten Choudhury

AGARTALA, May 14 (TIWN): Using the metaphor of Nero's fiddle playing amid the Roam city was getting destroyed, Tripura Communist Party senior leader, former Minister Jitendra Choudhury has strongly criticized Biplab Deb Govt for not recruiting Doctors, Nurses and other Medical staffs amid huge numbers of qualified youths and vacancies existing in state. Also no attempt of new post creation has been taken when over 400 Doctors are jobless. In a letter written to the Chief Secretary Manoj Kumar, the Communist party today placed 9 points of demands including proper food with nutrition for the poor. Refuting the logic of the BJP Govt about its claim of being inexperienced with Covid handling, Jitendra Choudhury said that Covid taught a lot in the last 1 year and thus the Govt has a clear picture about what has to be done as per the situation's demand.

Talking to media, leader Pabitra Kar said that numbers of testing has to be increased more and also gatherings must be stopped specially in market places.
