AGARTALA, May 9 (TIWN): Media daily bulletin given by Tripura Govt is insufficient, with no proper data. At the same time, with various new laws which would not be used by any Democratic nation, Tripura Govt has abandoned Officials to directly from talking to the media, whereas earlier (before BJP Govt formation) in Tripura from a office clerk to SDM, DM any official used to give media data over phone. As a result, data access has been totally curtailed. When Covid 2nd wave has hit the nation Govt is trying to suppress social media voice and Indian media too unable to report fearlessly. In Tripura such problems erupted from last year and now amid Covid-19 cases' surges, the sensitive areas, positivity cases, total Covid deaths nothing is given in the evening media bulletin. Only 24 hours positivity numbers can be known from the bulletin.

Agartala has micro-containment zones but no media has reported with categorical areas, numbers of cases. In case to data-exchanges, there is a huge communication gap between the Health Dept and the Media.

However, Tripura's positivity rate is 5% whereas Agartala micro containment zones are affected up to 16% Total 6 containment zones have been reported in Agartala.

India recorded 4,03,738 fresh Covid cases and 4,092 deaths in the last 24 hours, taking the overall case count to 2.22 crore. The country saw over 4 lakh daily infections for fifth time in a week and over 4,000 deaths for the second straight day.

Daily Media Bulletin's example below, lacks details about the 2nd wave in State Tripura, area-wise sensitivity.
