AGARTALA, April 9 (TIWN): Assam Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Friday visited Tripura after the Assam Election was ended. He travelled to Udaipur Mata Tripura Sundari temple but faced media questions on 10323 teachers' issues and other issues. Sources said that his visit is to resolve the infighting inside the party. Also one day ahead of ADC Poll result his arrival raised questions on political alliances chances after poll results in ADC as BJP's condition is not well-shaped in ADC amid rigging, malpractices by BJP in ADC Poll. Talking to the media at Udaipur Matabari, Himanta Biswa Sarma said, "I come every year here but due to COVID-19, I could come last year also. In the last few months, COVID was in control but once again it is rising high and thus for now, programmes will be limited for him". Himanta Biswa Sarma's visit has been after a long time in Tripura. In Social media, Biswa Sarma got trolled by netizens reminding him about his pre-poll promises.

Talking about the Tripura ADC Poll, Himanta Biswa Sarma said that BJP will win and also IPFT will win but he mentioned that Assam BJP's result might be little down or little increase this time in comparison to the last time. He said that still around 84 seats will be in favour of BJP led alliance in Assam.

On being asked about the internal issues inside BJP, Himanta Biswa Sarma said that the party should be united. Sarma claimed that Tripura has undergone development in the last 3 years.

One of the major promises of Tripura BJP was "50000 Govt Jobs (in already vacant posts which were not fulfilled under the then Left Govt) within first 1-Year of BJP Govt formation", "Permanent Solution of 10323 Teachers issue", "Regularization of all Contractual Employees" etc.

Before 2018 Poll, Himanta Biswa Sarma said that BJP will fulfill all these promised of the Vision Document before 2019 MP Election and if not, then not to vote for BJP in MP Election, but instead of regularization, terminations are happening at massive numbers and instead of 50000 vacant posts' filling up, abolition of posts are going and permanent jobs are squeezed through outsourcing and 10323 teachers are jobless for more than a year, who were recently beaten up violently by Police after they held gherao programme at the CM's residence.

10323 teachers' death toll is 92 where suicide, heart attacks deaths are at huge numbers.
