AGARTALA, March 19 (TIWN): Massive Political clash was developed among IPFT-BJP aligned group and rival TIPRA Motha as IPFT has accused TIPRA Motha behind the attack. IPFT top leader Pramod Koloi was severely injured and referred to GB hospital from Takarjala hospital. His condition was observed as critical. He has received heavy head-injuries. One more injured person is now admitted in Takarjala hospital. So far two persons are hospitalized. Talking to media, Kamal Debbarma, an IPFT leader said that BJP and IPFT were holding peace meeting when unprecedented attacks took place on the BJP, IPFT members. "The incident took place at around 11 am today and the accused persons have been identified", said Kamal Debbarma.

IPFT has demanded immediate action against the people who are involved in this violent incident. Similar incidents are regularly reported in Tripura ADC areas and the numbers of political clashes are increasing massively as the poll date is nearing. Tripura ADC Poll will be conducted on April 6.

Injured IPFT worker also said that a firing also took place during the clash. Tension remains in Takarjala area centering this incident.
