AGARTALA, March 18 (TIWN): CPI-M members Prabir Dhar and Dulal Karmakar's houses were attacked in CM Biplab Deb's constituency Banamalipur. Talking to Prabir Dhar, he said that he is regularly attending various programmes of CPI-M party but he never misbehaved with anyone. The miscreants came with sharp weapons in their hands and also by covering faces. The house of the mentioned persons were fully vandalized. The attacked family said that the BJP workers were celebrating 3rd anniversary of the BJP Govt and held dinner party nearby and after that, this attack took place.
Verbal abuses were also heard from the goons' mouths along with house vandalizing the opposition families houses. Similar attacks are being taken place statewide.
In Kamalpur subdivision out of 5 candidates, 4 candidates could not submit nominations. Recently, state witnessed how locals of Hapania were beaten up after they refused to fund for BJP's liquor party.
