Data Entry Operators in Strike seeking Pending Salaries : 'We might be Terminated because we are protesting', said Agitators

AGARTALA, March 6 (TIWN): Data Entry Operators are not getting salaries in GB hospital led them to go on strike today.

While addressing the media, a Data Entry Operator said that they are protesting amid heavy risks as they know, if they protest, they will be terminated.

Talking to media, the agitating Data Operators said, "For last 1 year such situations are erupting again and again. They are paying us for 1 month and then 3 months wait for payments".

"We worked in COVID period without salaries. Huge salaries pending but nothing has been given, but now they are asking us to sign in stamp-paper, but without salary how can we sign. How can the workers manage transport fare ?", she said.

"We don't want to hamper the system but what to do ? How can we survive without pays ? Our salary is only 5,500 rupees. For 14 years we have been working here. Now, as we are raising voice, we might get terminated", said the agitating staff.
