Agartala, 26 Jan (TIWN): After 51 days of protest JMC has started a massive protest rally with flambeau in Agartala city, and tomorrow they will move towards secretary to be confronted with CM. JMC teacher Dalia Das said in front of the media “If CM really wanted to meet with us in our agitation spot then he could but the ground reality is he does not have any interest to meet with us and solve our issues".
Amid their protest teachers tried to meet with state govt and the authorities of education department but they didn’t receive any sympathy from the govt. Terminated teachers had given letters to Education Department that if they do not get any positive response about their job then before 25 Jan they will start massive protest in an undemocratic way
On Oct 3 CM, Biplab Deb himself promised to 10,323 teachers that within 2 months he will take positive steps to get back sacked teacher’s job but even after crossing 2 months CM, Biplab Deb did not respond anything to sacked 10,323 teachers. CM also didn’t say anything whether he is interested to return their lost job back or not. Victim 10,323 teachers waited for CM’s response for a long time but noticed the silent role of CM sacked teachers started protest on Dec 7, in the Agartala city with little hope that state govt will take a positive role. But unfortunately CM to heavy leaders of ruling govt didn’t feel the necessity to meet with the victim teachers in their agitation spot amid teacher’s death in a row.
