AGARTALA, Jan 20 (TIWN): 10323 Teachers Joint Movement Committee has continued protest on 45th day in pursuance of record longest protest in state. But the BJP led State Govt which promised the teachers before Assembly Election about continuation of their jobs, now has taken U-Turn and has put Deaf-Ears to the appeals of the 10323 teachers. The ultimate demand of the 10323 teachers which is to 'restore' the jobs of the 10323 teachers yet to get a green signal from the State Govt. The protest which has already hit the record as the longest protest in Tripura's history has not received any positive development yet as Govt continues to play a silent role and displaying a deaf attitude to the pleas of the agitating, jobless teachers. However, addressing media JMC has said today that they will continue this movement amid all off situations and day by day, the protest will be strengthened.
Terminated 10323 teachers also have requested the opposition to raise their issue in the Assembly and to force the State Govt to restore their jobs by a decision in the Assembly session.
JMC said that in anyway, the teachers are not going back to their places and the protest will continue unless demands are fulfilled.
"Our problem's solution is very easy. CM can take a positive action to save our lives. It should not be forgotten that the High Court verdict was misinterpreted under the previous Govt but now it is the duty of the present Govt to save our jobs", said JMC.
JMC also said that people are with them and with people's help only, this protest is going on.
"Our dream fulfillment is just a matter of time...............We believe that our problems will be solved", said JMC.
JMC also asked Tripura Govt to conduct an all-party-meeting to save the 10323 teachers problems.
