AGARTALA, Jan 10 (TIWN): Does not matter how far the ruling politicians claim about development while giving speech but the reality is just horrifying under the BJP era in Tripura. Poverty and deprivation are fueling suicide attempts among 10323 teachers, as one more teacher of JMC, Rumi Debbarma committed suicide today by consuming acid raising the death toll to 80. She also gave acid to her 1-year old son. Both Rumi and her husband were a part of the JMC movement as they both lost their jobs in March 2020 and could not run their family for remaining jobless for 10 months. Today, Manohari Jamatia, another 10323 teacher died due to illness. He did not had money for his treatment.

One after another death is happening and Biplab Deb’s ridiculous Govt. is enjoying watching death processions. It has been 34-days the teachers are agitating on-road amid extreme cold weather facing murder threats and violent attacks from ruling party’s hired goons but the worthless ministers of BJP are showing no concern. They are busy cutting birthday cakes and visiting party members’ wedding programs.

On Dec 2, after UGT teacher Uttam Tripura committed suicide by hanging himself due to debt pressure, his wife jumped on cremation pyre. After the picture went viral on social media instead of showing sympathy, BJP trolled the incident from their Facebook page and allegedly claimed that it was a pre-planned shoot.
