10323 Teachers to strengthen Movement from Jan 7 as 1 month of Demonstration to be completed amid No Response from Tripura Govt

AGARTALA, Jan 4 (TIWN): The agitating 10323 teachers to intensify their protest after 6th January, announced the Joint Movement Committee members who have stirred protest from December 7, 2020 before Agartala City Centre amid no response came from the State Govt yet. The 10323 teachers will complete their 1 month of demonstration on 7th January and from 7th December, the teachers are agitating on road amid extreme cold weather. Although BJP before the election took away the vote banks of the teachers and their families by promising that the Govt once established will save the jobs of 10323 teachers, but now has taken an opposite direction and what the Govt is now saying is just opposite of what the party said before election. The agitating teachers said that they area also not leaving the ground so easily and will force the Govt to fulfill its promise.

The teachers also have show various legal examples by which their jobs can be saved but the Govt is not at all bothered to even discuss the issues. The 10323 teachers said, from 7th January their protests will be strengthened, requested all terminated teachers to join the protest from today before City Centre. 

It can be noted here that on the 28th day of 10323 Teachers Joint Movement Committee's protest at Agartala City Centre, from Sonamura subdivision, "Nagarik Adhikar Mancha" members have joined the protest and helped the movement with necessary commodities. Along the Nagarik Adhikar Mancha members, Tripura High Court Senior Advocate Purushottom Roy Barman who recently received victory against Tripura Govt to regularize the Science Teachers has also joined the protest.

Talking to media, Nagarik Adhikar Mancha has said that like various organizations have forwarded their support to the 10323 teachers, they also have joined the protest and helped the teachers with their own capacity, promised to stay with the teachers in future. Various organization, lawyers bodies, students have forwarded their support in favour of 10323 teachers demands already. 

Talking to media, High Court advocate Purushottom Roy Barman has said, "I congratulate the Nagarik Adhikar Mancha for their supports to the agitating teachers. It proves that whole Sonamura and the state Tripura's people are with the agitating teachers and on humanitarian ground, 10323 teachers livelihood is in demand of the people. Nagarik Adhikar Mancha earlier also came forward to help the people including raising voice against unconstitutional Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), NRC".
