A parent said, their family is now undergoing extreme financial crisis situation since her son lost jobs. Another guardian whose son-in-law has lost job said that there should be humanitarian gesture from the State Govt because afterall for humans, all laws are made. Addressing in the demonstration spot, 10323 teachers Joint Movement Committee Convener Prasanta Debbarma said, "We do not care who will feel what but nobody can stop us from speaking truth".
"Why only 10323 teachers have lost jobs and not other teachers of 2012 ? Why in case of science teachers, no fault in the recruitment happened ? The previous CPI-M Govt's legal experts could not explain the judgement of the 10323 teachers of the then Chief Justice Dipak Gupta, resulted in today's situation and we are left jobless for 9 months. However, the second blow was given after our termination although the incumbent Govt can keep us in our posts by rectifying the previous Govt's faults".
Prasanta Debbarma further has called the teachers to dedicate themselves in protests as only 70% of their performance they are giving but 100% dedication is missing.
