AGARTALA, Dec 17 (TIWN): On the 11th day of protest by terminated 10323 teachers, the 'Joint Movement Committee' of the teaches have announced that they will write to the President of India seeking permission for "suicide", as they have no other option left due to State Govt's silence. In a strong speech delivered by 10323 teacher Ajay Debbarma, he said that there are lots of recruitment, lots of promotions, interviews as per old recruitment and promotional policies but except 10323 teachers, all are still employed. He also asked, how could the four science teachers can continue in job although they fall under same judgement ? "The Govt never mentioned about any examination or any interview before the election to save our livelihoods but it said about permanent solution which means to keep us in our same jobs where we were appointed. We are not afraid about any examinations because our students might have passed TET exams and we know how to score in examinations well but point is where is our fault ? Our jobs never had gone and also no notice was given to us by any Court. Without giving notice, how can we be terminated ?", said Ajay Debbarma.

He asked, "If the fault is of the Govt, who should be punished and who should suffer ? We don't know any case against our jobs was going on in High Court and Supreme Court because we were not informed through notice. We will continue protests and if the Govt wants, it can also order police to shoot us".
