AGARTALA, Dec 13 (TIWN): Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Deb continues to lose his popularity amid his extreme attempts of getting publicity using party and administration both machineries at his best. But majority of the BJP members including MLAs are against CM Biplab Deb which was again reflected during his Panisagar visit today where local MLA Binoy Bhushan Das has boycotted CM's visit programme. On 25th of November, in Udaipur local MLAs had boycotted CM Biplab Deb on his birthday where he travelled in helicopter and today also Deb visited Panisagar where due to Home Dept's total failure 2 lives had gone during protest over Bru repatriation. Today after 22 days of the incident although CM Biplab Deb visited Panisagar, had met killed Fireman Biswajit Debbarma's family and police firing died Srikanta Das's family, MLA Binoy Bhushan Das has rejected to go there.

It can be mentioned here that MLA Binoy Bhushan Das earlier brought serious allegations against the Home Dept under Biplab Deb and raised question over paralyzed role of the Dept amid such level of violence was conducted.

MLA Binoy Bhushan Das also blamed State Govt behind firing incident at Panisagar violence where 23 persons were injured in police firing and one died added by one Fireman was killed in the violence. This fresh statement from the MLA came when 18 MLAs of the BJP out of 36 are directly against CM Biplab Deb and more MLAs are unofficially against him, would bring No-Trust-Motion in Assembly against CM.

In  an interview with local media, MLA Binoy Bhushan Deb said, "The State Govt is fully responsible for firing on the innocent agitators of Joint Movement Committee at Panisagar. On 20th November, CM Biplab Deb had called me to talk to the Joint Movement Committee members who were in strike from 5 days. CM informed me about the next day's road blockade planning of the Joint Movement Committee which may affect the reputation of the Govt. I also held meeting aftermath CM's call with the Joint Movement Committee members but they asked, why the State Govt is not considering a meeting with the Joint Movement Committee when they are holding strike for 5 days ? So, they denied to change decision but they assured me about peaceful road blockade on Assam-Agartala road".

"It was decided that after road blockade MLA with Govt team will go to the agitation spot and then the road blockade can be withdrawn but the SP of the District did not pick up his call. On next day, police personnel were set on blockade spot but as the agitators came from various parts of the area, it could not be controlled but then first teargas was thrown and when the agitators denied to go and arguments erupted, police lost control and started firing which killed one spot dead and injured 23 more. Then one more Fireman Biswajit Debbarman also died and for all those incidents the State Govt is responsible", said the MLA.  He also informed, although on the next day, a meeting was conducted with SP, DM with the agitators but he was not even asked to attend the meeting. Then, CM Biplab Deb also called the MLA and asked who did give firing order and from that time he was calling police super but no-one was cooperating.

Then in MLA Bhagaban Das and Minister Santana Chakma led meeting also the local MLA of Panisagar Binoy Bhushan Das was not invited. MLA Binoy Bhushan Das has blamed the Govt for the incident and accused the Administration there for firing incident.  However, State Govt has ordered a Magisterial investigation in the incident.
