AGARTALA, Nov 11 (TIWN): When the whole country is facing a recession kind of situation, where the daily workers and private sector employees are loosing their jobs, another 25 employees has been kicked out from their work field amid pandemic. All the 25 employees were working in the company for more than twenty years.
Reportedly, the owner of Abhinandan Enterprise terminated all his 25 employees as he decided to close the factory. The owner said that he is not getting any tender or works to continue the factory. This decision brought a huge amount of tension among the employees as they gave their 20-25 years of work life into this company and now after all these years finding another job will be very difficult for them.
The employees after seeking help from the company's owner and the government, now staged protest infront of the locked gate of the factory on Wednesday. While talking to media one employee said, "I have been working in this company since last 25 years. And now at this age where will I go to seek for a job? We have talked with the labour association and they asked us to write letter to CM. We have placed deputation to CM, Dy. CM and Director. But we haven't got any response yet. Now if we don't find a solution, we will have to die in starvation. I request the Government to do something for us so that we can earn some money and pursue our livelihood, atleast."
