Reportedly, the victim identified as  Maranchandra Das, resident of Belonia college square was reparing an electric line in Ratanpur area under Belonia electric office. Due to the less employees in the office, the person went to repair the line alone with the help of two local youths. While repairing the line, he fell from height and got severely injured. The local people immediately took him to hospital where doctors declared him dead.

This heart wrenching incident made everyone depressed in the locality. The lack of employees and proper equipments leading people face such dangerous accidents on everyday basis in Tripura. Yet, the State government shows no interest in recruiting people in govt sectors amid being the highest unemployed rate holder State among NE.
