AGARTALA, Oct 20 (TIWN): Due to the bad service of TSECL, people across all over Tripura are suffering since many days. In the time of global pandemic when people are starving without food, some tough and inappropriate decisions of TSECL is leaving people in shock. Due to the new pre-paid system of electricity bill a lot of people are suffering across the State. Such incident reported in Bikram Nagar Electric office under Sekerkot area.
Reportedly, the residents of Bikram Nagar have been given 3 days of time limit with 10 unit balance to get recharge otherwise their electricity line will be cut after three days. Such tough decision amid Durga Puja left people in shock.
On Tuesday when people went to Bikram Nagar Electric office, they were kept waiting in a long queue for hours. This negligence of the Bikram Nagar Electric office staffs erupted resentment among the local people. However, the authority of that office did not say anything about this inconvenience yet.
