AGARTALA, Sep 27 (TIWN): Brutal attacks on opposition party activities from blood donation camps to protest rallies are increasing in state.
Reportedly, on 27 September, CPIM's indigenous wing Ganamukti Parishad (GMP) and TYF organised a rally in Shantir Bazar's patichari area. There few alleged ruling party activists attacked on the rally. In that incident many persons got injured in attack and Counter attack.
Later, when CPIM supporters counter-attacked them, the goons escaped from that place. However, they couldn't take their bikes and cars from their. Almost 20 bikes and one car was left on the spot after the goons escaped from the place after getting beaten in counter-attack.
Later, police came to spot and controlled the situation. Though a cloud of tension is still floating over the sky of Patichari area.
